What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or equivalent, Associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology from AVMA accredited program, Credentialed as Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state, 1+ years of experience in a veterinary technician, Basic computer skills, Comprehension of practice management software, Comprehension of electronic medical record keeping, Fine motor skills for handling patients, Fine motor skills for medical equipment, Ability to stand for prolonged hours, Ability to kneel, Ability to work on the floor, Ability to lift up to 25 kg, Ability to support up to 40 kg with assistance, Willing to work in noisy environment, Willing to work with unpleasant odors, Availability to work nights, Availability to work weekends, Availability to work holidays
Nice to Have
VTS in ECC, VTS in internal medicine, VTS in anesthesia/analgesia, Experience in emergency medicine, Experience in specialty medicine
