Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, 5+ years of professional embedded software development, Expert-level proficiency in C/C++, Deep hands-on experience with real-time systems, multitasking, and embedded synchronization patterns, Proven expertise in device drivers, middleware (I/O, BIT), hardware abstraction layers, and low-level interfaces, Working knowledge of multiple hardware architectures (ARM, x86) and embedded environments (RTOS, Linux), Experience with CI/CD tools and workflows (GitLab, Jira, Confluence, or similar), problem-solving abilities, proven track record as a collaborative teammate, Excellent communication skills, passion for team culture
Nice to Have
NASA Core Flight Software (CFE) framework experience, Proficiency with communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN) and networking standards (TCP/IP, UDP, MQTT), Background in safety-critical software development (aerospace, automotive, medical devices, or similar)
