Join the brightest minds in robotics developing the next generation of manipulation robots! This fast-moving team is creating a game changing new product for accelerating robotics. it has a strong ownership culture and the urgency of a team that knows it's building something that hasn't been done before. You'll own the embedded software organization for a product that is a critical priority for Amazon Robotics — and you'll be expected to move fast, make selections with incomplete information, and raise the bar continuously. You'll have the autonomy to shape the technical direction, the accountability to deliver it, and the resources of Amazon behind you. About the Role We are looking for a technical leader who has been in the trenches of embedded systems and robotics - who knows how to run complex programs and scale both software and teams. This is a deeply technical role. You'll be closely involved in system design decisions across a complex stack: custom hardware, embedded Linux, actuator control, computer vision, WiFi, safety systems, and IO protocols. You'll partner with the science team to implement modern control algorithms and you'll own and operate these systems across Amazon-scale fleets.
