At 2N, we're building the future of building access - developing and manufacturing cutting-edge intercoms and access control systems that open doors from Dubai to New York. The newly formed team at 2N R&D is looking for new colleagues. Could that be you? Who is your future team? We’re a diverse team with a wide range of skills, experiences, and backgrounds, united by a shared enthusiasm for software development. We develop and maintain the firmware of the Readers solution in the 2N and Axis portfolio. This team is newly formed, and we are now looking for a new team member who will be working on our reader solution. What will you do here as an Embedded Software Developer? Your main tasks will be to develop our reader functionality, both implementing new features and maintaining existing ones. You will work in a team of five developers, with colleagues also focusing on this area. Secure development practices such as threat modeling are important to us and will be part of your daily work. Another important aspect is that everyone in the team works on their continuous learning and innovation. This is important to us, and we set aside time for it. Maybe you will be the one coming up with a cool new feature for our intercoms, a new area to explore, or a more efficient way of working. ## Qualifications We believe you are a cooperative team player, can drive technical direction, and have strong communication skills. You might know a few programming languages and work comfortably with C++. We also believe you have lots of curiosity and love problem solving together with your team. At 2N, we place a high degree of confidence in our engineers, and as one of them, you'll have a significant impact on the development of our features.
