Must Have
STEM degree, 2 years of prior relevant experience, U. S. Citizenship, ability to obtain and maintain a U. S. government issued security clearance, Embedded software engineering knowledge, Python, Java, C, C++, Networking knowledge, OSI Layers, Arnic 429 protocols, WiFi, Product security, secure system threat modeling, fuzzing/pen testing
Nice to Have
Risk Management Framework, Threat Models, Data Flow Diagrams, Data/network security implementations, operating systems, tailoring and hardening of operating systems, system and application penetration testing, SAST, analyzing security impact of code defects, System & Application Fuzzing / Resiliency Tests, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Sec+, OSCP, CISSP
What You'll Do.
Address Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs)
review Risk Management Framework (RMF) cybersecurity artifacts
Follow and guide teams to adherence of military RMF security processes
Conduct Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) investigations
Support organizational adoption of the Avionics SSDLC
Develop and execute fuzzing and penetration tests
Analyze system data flows
Develop threat model / data flow diagrams
Ensure proper implementation of security measures
deploy and automate security tools
Help characterize security vulnerabilities
Review code to identify weaknesses
Conduct vulnerability assessments
