What You'll Do.
Plan for postsecondary options
Apply academic achievement strategies
Manage emotions and apply interpersonal skill
Focus students and families on college and career
Meet quarterly with students on caseload to review
Deliver classroom instruction based on student success
Review transcripts and other academic documentation
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop a
Audit student schedules for candidacy for graduation
Assist students in course placement
Recommend Advanced Placement (AP)
Recommend pathways to challenge and enrich student learning
Develop data-driven programs for intervention action
Provide short-term counseling to students
Provide referrals for long-term support
Support teachers and staff
Advocate for students at individual education plan meetings
Advocate for students at other student-focused meetings
