**About Pulse Heart Institute** MultiCare’s Pulse Heart Institute is a physician led institute with multi-specialty partnership with Cardiothoracic surgery, vascular and cardiovascular service lines. Our team and state-of-the-art programs create a world-class health care organization and the destination center for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular care with complex structural heart disease and interventions, advanced heart failure service as well as advanced imaging with cutting edge technologies. **FTE:** 1.0, **Shift:** Days, **Schedule:** 4-10 hour shifts with night and weekend call required **Position Summary** The Electrophysiology Technician is an ideal opportunity at MultiCare to provide quality care within the cardiac cath and electrophysiology labs. This position offers you the capacity to provide technical support and assistance while you ensure the comfort and well-being of the patient and family. **Responsibilities** * You will perform direct patient care activities under the direction of the Registered Nurse * You will maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment in the assigned procedure room * You will assist the Registered Nurses in providing patient care as needed * You will perform required Cath and Electrophysiology Lab specific documentation assuring that it is reflective of patient needs, and actions taken * You will assemble, disassemble, and operate specialty equipment * You will assist physicians in administering contrast media **Requirements** * Certification of Washington State radiologic technologist or cardiovascular invasive specialist * Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist RT(R) * Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) registry as a standard for care provision, previous experience and RCES registry or commitment to obtain within six (6) months of employment * Current BLS and ACLS Certification **Why Pulse Heart Institute?** **Physician-led care** Led by physician
