We have an opening for anElectronics Technologist/Senior Electronics Technologist to support Pulsed Power Research and Development (R&D). In this role, you will support experimental campaigns by helping develop diagnostic sensors and operating high-voltage, high-current, and explosively driven R&D systems. You will also perform console operations for experimental subsystems and diagnostics, including data acquisition and related support functions. You will help solve complex technical problems through regular interactions with colleagues and engineers at Site 200 and off-site locations. This position is in the National Security Engineering Division (NSED) within the Engineering Directorate. This position requires full-time on-site presence due to the nature of the work. This position will be filled at either level based on knowledge and related experience as assessed by the hiring team. Additional job responsibilities (outlined below) will be assigned if hired at the higher level.
