Full Job Description

Amentum is seeking an **Electronic Technician D** for a position on **Kauai, HI**. Supporting the **Aerial Targets** Department. Under close supervision, individual will perform target systems electrical and jet engine run tests, troubleshoots, repair and calibrate all systems and associated equipment and performs other related tasks. **Responsibilities** * Performs periodic inspections and maintenance tasks in accordance with published procedures. Documents results of all maintenance actions electronically through Navy’s record keeping system. * Troubleshoots and repairs systems/equipment by reading and interpreting electronic/mechanical schematics by using simple and complex test equipment. * Assists in preparing and developing new local procedures, procedural changes, and modification proposals. * Must be able to be certified to handle, install and check-out aerial target related ordnance. * Configure/install augmentation equipment, checks-out, calibrate, modify, and perform acceptance tests on target drones and associated ground support equipment. * Support all phases of target operation to include target assembly, operational checks, launch and decontamination of targets. * Performs other duties as required. **Additional Responsibilities** * Lifting.
