Amentum is seeking an **Electronic Technician D** for a position on **Kauai, HI**. Supporting the **Aerial Targets** Department. Under close supervision, individual will perform target systems electrical and jet engine run tests, troubleshoots, repair and calibrate all systems and associated equipment and performs other related tasks. **Responsibilities** * Performs periodic inspections and maintenance tasks in accordance with published procedures. Documents results of all maintenance actions electronically through Navy’s record keeping system. * Troubleshoots and repairs systems/equipment by reading and interpreting electronic/mechanical schematics by using simple and complex test equipment. * Assists in preparing and developing new local procedures, procedural changes, and modification proposals. * Must be able to be certified to handle, install and check-out aerial target related ordnance. * Configure/install augmentation equipment, checks-out, calibrate, modify, and perform acceptance tests on target drones and associated ground support equipment. * Support all phases of target operation to include target assembly, operational checks, launch and decontamination of targets. * Performs other duties as required. **Additional Responsibilities** * Lifting. Pushing, and pulling of 25-50 lbs. * Work positions requirements: walking, standing, crawling, kneeling or cramped, work requiring repeated stooping, or frequent climbing, and sitting. * Working environment activities: Customer Contact, Extended Workday, Offer Laboratory Field Assignment, and Inclement weather. **Minimum Qualifications** * An **Associate Degree** in related field OR Equivalent training, (e.g., 2-year technical school) * **Two-year** experience in a related field of assignment. * Possess thorough knowledge of electronics theory and be proficient in reading and interpreting complicated schematic diagrams for troubleshooting and repair to the component level. * Possess or be able to obtain**Ordnance C
