Must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C. F. R. § 120. 62 is required., Physical tasks include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs., Engage in various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting., Work in environments that may involve contact with metals, solvents, and coolants., Operate in proximity to moving parts and tools, sharp cutters, and potential slipping hazards., Adapt to varying noise levels and atmospheric conditions., Utilize personal safety gear to protect face/eyes, hands/arms, and feet while performing job duties., 100% onsite work required., Shift Work: 2nd shift
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
1+ years of electronic/electrical experience including related education in any of the following fields: machine tool maintenance, industrial electronic and/or electrical maintenance field, or military electronic/electrical system maintenance, Valid State of Oregon Electrical License at the Manufacturing Plant level or higher and/or the ability to reciprocate your state's license into Oregon
Nice to Have
1+ years of experience operating CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled) machine tools, 1+ years of experience troubleshooting and operating PLCs (programmable logic controls) preferably Siemens and Allen Bradley
What You'll Do.
Obtain work assignments
and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
Comply with safety procedures
Use mechanical lifts to access work areas
Disassemble and reassemble electronic components or subsystems for inspection and repairs
or reprogram components
Secure or order replacement parts
Utilize electronic test equipment to test and calibrate electronic components and systems
Perform antenna and transmission line tests
Install and edit software and machine programs
Clean electronic components and computer controls
Conduct follow-up tests to verify that issues have been resolved
Create detailed documentation of work performed
Communicate with the next shift to ensure continuity
Analyze and improve facility and equipment design
Maintain applicable licenses
