Must Have
BS degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace engineering or similar degree (i. e. , physics, materials science) with a minimum of 15 years applicable experience, MS degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering or related field with a minimum of 13 years applicable experience, Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, Excellent written and oral communication skills, Must be a US Citizen and have a STAR ID
Nice to Have
Knowledge of solder alloy testing, packaging reliability testing, advanced packaging, and the history of electronics packaging for aerospace applications, Knowledge of NASA Standards and current state-of-the-art packaging technologies, Experience with NASA Design Specifications, and Standards, Ability to interpret test results and prepare technical reports and presentations for internal use, government publications, and relevant scientific publications

Work with senior Subject Matter Experts; Serve as a Marshall Space Flight Center representative on NASA and Industry Workmanship Standards Committees; Discuss and adjudicate changes to standards with government and industry professionals; Support standards development meetings; Interact professionally with co-workers, management, and client
