## Description Ever wondered what clouds are made of? In this role, you will be hands-on with the building blocks of ‘the cloud’. What to expect: This position is a part-time, 6 month contract. You will be part of a global inspection team assuring the quality of components and assemblies that this cloud services provider is sourcing from one or more suppliers in this area. Once on the team, you will be deployed through SQA’s operations center based on client needs and each supplier’s production schedule. What you’ll do: You will perform inspection activities, including visual, physical, and dimensional (both in-process and final) of machined, electro-mechanical, and other parts, according to client requirements and specifications. Inspection may consist of, but not be limited to: Incoming inspection from external providers of products or services/processing (e.g., nickel plating). In-process and final inspection of critical features such as witness inspection. Compilation of final inspection sign-off sheet and report packages. Verification that inspection equipment used to take measurements is capable of detecting defects. Verification that inspection methodology is adequate per drawing intent. Audit and validate the execution of the inspection plan. Provide weekly reports of manufacturing sites ramp progress, equipment quality performance of the facility, and delivery details by Data Center site. Conduct periodic quality audits of the supplier’s factory and provide reports of results. Drive closure of findings identified as non-conformance. Ensuring the supplier’s quality control system documents the findings. Provide customer witness for test scripts, including but not limited to Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for all equipment. Validate equipment is acceptable with no issues and compliance to the Level 1 commissioning process (Red/Orange tags) before shipment to the Data Center.
