Must Have
High School Diploma or GED required, At least 7 years of supervisory, team lead or managerial experience, At least 4 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial setting, Hands-on experience working with hazardous materials, dry powder processes, and wet chemical/slurry and solvent-based operations, Proven ability to manage production metrics, drive accountability, and lead teams, Ability to create spreadsheets, basic formulas, create tables, etc., Ability to troubleshoot processes and equipment, Availability to work a 1st shift schedule with potential to work a second shift if needed in the future, Ability to lift 50lbs daily, Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary including, but not limited to eye protection, hair net, gloves, face mask, coveralls, full-face respirator or PAPR
Nice to Have
Bachelor's Degree of Science preferred, Battery industrial manufacturing experience preferred but not required, Clean room/Dry room experience is a plus, Experience with milling, heat treatment (HTX), or similar processing equipment preferred, Experience with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma, Experience with an ERP system
What You'll Do.
Lead and supervise electrolyte powder production operations and shift activities

and batch execution requirements
Monitor and report on production performance
Identify and execute continuous improvement and process optimization opportunities
Ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment
Maintain dry room and controlled environment standards
including housekeeping and material handling practices
Enforce safety protocols and lead a safety culture aligned with EHS requirements
Support process hazard analysis (PHA) and implementation of risk mitigation measures
Coordinate with QC and Engineering on deviations
and corrective actions
Ensure compliance with OSHA
and internal safety standards

Full Job Description
Position Overview: Solid Power is seeking an Electrolyte Production Supervisor to lead daily electrolyte powder manufacturing operations supporting next-generation all-solid-state battery materials. This role is responsible for driving safe, consistent, and efficient production while leading operators, enforcing standards, and improving process performance. The supervisor will partner cross-functionally with QC, Engineering, Maintenance, EH&S, and other departments to ensure product quality, throughput, and compliance in a controlled manufacturing environment. This position will support our split shift team. The shift will start mid-morning and as customer demand increases, could move to a traditional second shift schedule. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Electrolyte Production. Job Duties: Lead and supervise electrolyte powder production operations and shift activities. Manage and develop production operators, including training, performance, and accountability. Drive adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and batch execution requirements. Monitor and report on production performance, yields, and quality metrics. Identify and execute continuous improvement and process optimization opportunities.
