Must Have
1 or more years’ experience as a production or construction team lead, Experience with all safe practices, procedures, and overall processes associated with manufacturing from raw materials to finished product
Nice to Have
Post-secondary education in a related field, First Aid skills and/or certificates
What You'll Do.
Perform duties as required by a department head
Coordinate assembly and fabrication of products
Ensure crew is arriving on time
Host a morning meeting with crew
Review any job-related issues
Ensure workers have proper material and tools
Trains new workers on methods and procedures
Familiarize self with new equipment
Establish methods to meet deadlines
Ensure workers are wearing proper PPE
Ensure quality of work is maintained
Resolve any work problems
Ensure workers adhere to company rules
Assist in inventory management
Completing required paperwork
maintaining accurate record keeping
Set goals and manage time efficiently
Support shop hygiene and 5-S program
Perform all duties in accordance with safety program
Organize department and keep department clean
Inspect equipment to ensure good working order
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Communication is primarily internal to the assigned work team; Communication with Production Manager/Supervisors
