Must Have
Completion of a recognized apprenticeship as an OR full journey status as an electrician in a OR four years’ applicable work experience., Vocational training may be substituted for work experience on a year-for-year basis., Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator’s license may be required.
What You'll Do.
Performs work in all areas of the Medical Center
including areas with limited access
restricted clearances and clean room environments.
Understands and takes proper area specific infection control precautions for the assigned task.
May work in close proximity to in progress medical procedures.
Performs alteration work
with or without blueprints and detailed specifications
May construct new facilities from blueprints and specifications.
Performs routine corrective maintenance work
and repairs or replaces components on a wide variety of low voltage and line voltage circuits and systems as well as motors
Inspect electrical systems
communications systems and equipment to detect and correct faulty components or parts.
and repairs specialized systems and equipment
Communicates with customers (medical
nursing and hospital staff) as well as team members and supervisors about maintenance
alteration and installation projects
Researches Electrical blueprints
and related documents in addition to tracing circuits prior to scheduled shutdowns shutdowns for maintenance
remodel and/or contract construction.
