Diagnose electrical and mechanical malfunctions
Must be able to work from heights, ladders, and man lifts, Must have the ability to distinguish between different wire colors, Must be able to drive up to a 1-ton pickup or bucket truck with trailer, Must wear PPE as required, Must be able to work in a variety of different environments, including inclement weather and high man lifts, Must be able to and willing to work outside of normal work hours as in back shift and weekends, with notice, Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access, Background check, E-Verify, Lift and/or move up to 80 pounds, Reach, Kneel, Walk, Stand, Use repetitive motion, Climb in and out of a vehicle, Climb stairs, Work effectively under pressure
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum of three (3) years of electrical experience required, Must be able to work in a variety of different environments, including inclement weather and high man lifts, Must be able to read and understand schematics and blueprints, Must be able to and willing to work outside of normal work hours as in back shift and weekends, with notice, A valid state driver’s license is required, Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access
Nice to Have
State of Alaska electrical license preferred, Journeyman level license preferred, State of Alaska electrical administrator license preferred, Alaska certificate of fitness required, First Aid/CPR Certification preferred
