Must Have
U. S. Citizenship required for this position, Active Virginia Journeyman Electrician License, Proven industrial electrical experience working in commercial or industrial facility environments, Comprehensive knowledge of electrical theory and ability to perform electrical calculations and formulas accurately, Thorough understanding of National Electric Code rules, regulations, and compliance requirements, along with state and local electrical codes, Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical sketches, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical specifications, knowledge of health and safety regulations related to electrical work, with commitment to proper safety practices and protocols
Nice to Have
Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for work order tracking and documentation, Familiarity with building automation systems and electrical control systems integration, Knowledge of telephone and communications equipment installation and maintenance, Experience mentoring or training junior technicians and maintenance personnel, Understanding of inventory management for electrical materials, equipment, and supplies, Previous experience estimating project timelines, materials costs, and resource requirements, Experience with high-voltage electrical systems and three-phase power distribution
