Union 30 Electrician Job Description The Electrician supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes to electrical equipment and systems in assigned facilities. Performs inspections and repairs to assigned property, including installed fixtures, lighting, etc. Provides electrical support for the site electrical system. This role has wide ranging responsibilities from Medium voltage power, Power logic system, and HVAC controls. Primary responsibilities will include Central Utility Plant electrical support (power, boilers. Chillers, and controls, UPS systems) and Lighting system controls, This will also be the back-up role for site electric and provide controls support for VFD’s and other instrumentation.Inspect, repair, install, service and maintain electrical systems including conduit systems, lighting and power circuits, control equipment, switches fans, fixtures, bell and buzzer systems and clocks. · Repair and maintain electric equipment · Inspect and maintain exit and emergency lighting systems and fire alarm systems. · Read and interpret sketches, wiring diagrams, drawings and blueprints; perform work to specified standards. · Operate a variety of equipment and machinery such as testing equipment and devices, various saws and drills and hand tools; · Maintain routine records and logs of inspections, maintenance, repairs and work orders. · Provide assistance in various other areas of maintenance
