What They're Looking For.
Must Have
NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent recognised qualification, City & Guilds 2391 / 2394 & 2395 Inspection & Testing qualification essential, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification, Previous experience in electrical testing within commercial, industrial, or M&E environments, understanding of BS7671 and electrical testing procedures, ECS / CSCS Gold Card
Nice to Have
Full UK / Irish Driving Licence desirable
What You'll Do.
Carrying out inspection and testing of electrical installations in line with BS7671 and Guidance Note 3
Completing Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection & Testing activities
Performing continuity
insulation resistance
and functional testing
and non-compliant installations during testing phases
Supporting site teams with fault finding and remedial works
Completing Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs) and associated testing documentation
Using digital certification software and QA platforms to record results and documentation
Supporting commissioning and energisation activities across projects
Coordinating witness testing with clients
and commissioning teams
Ensuring all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained correctly
Following safe isolation and Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures at all times
Working closely with Site Managers
and Project Teams to support successful handover

Team & Collaboration
Work alongside experienced commissioning and engineering teams; Supporting site teams with fault finding and remedial works; Coordinating witness testing with clients, consultants, and commissioning teams; Working closely with Site Managers, Engineers, and Project Teams to support successful handover
