Must Have
High School Diploma or GED, Minimum of four (4) years of hands-on experience in the electrical trade OR three (3) years of teaching experience in electrical or related programs, understanding of electrical tools, systems, codes, and safety practices, Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on student engagement and instructional clarity, computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment, Highly organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, Positive and professional attitude, with a commitment to student success
Nice to Have
National Center for Construction Education and Research (The NCCER ICTP Certification is required before instructors start teaching classes. Company will pay for certification. ), OSHA 30-hour safety certification within 6 months of hire date., CPR certification current or within 3 months of hire date., Electrical Journeyman or Master License preferred
What You'll Do.
Teach electrical theory
Deliver engaging instruction aligned with industry standards
Instruct students on proper and safe use of tools
Create a positive classroom and lab environment
Maintain and update lesson plans and materials
Monitor and document student attendance and progress
Enter grades and required documentation
Ensure classrooms and labs are clean
Support student success through coaching
Participate in required training and meetings
Stay informed of industry advancements
Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
Perform other duties as assigned
