**Job Title:** Electrical Technician I **Job Description:** **Electrical Technician** **The Role:** Entegris is currently seeking an **Electrical Technician** to join our Advanced Purity Solutions Division. This position will be at our **San Luis Obispo, CA** facility. In this role, you will be responsible for performing electrical panel layout and wiring tasks related to building our Ultra High Purity Systems. This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner and comply with all applicable work instructions and drawings. **What You’ll Do:** * Learn and understand standard and non-standard options per the Customer Data Sheets (CDS) requirements. * Wire panels and follow schematics, wire diagrams, and verbal instructions. * Layout components on electrical panels per instructions and drawings. * Assemble point to point wiring – Cable and harness installation. * Learn engineering specifications to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner. * Assist with 6S responsibilities (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety). * Maintain a safe and clean work environment and maintain or increase on-time shipments. * Work safely and recognize the safety of others. * Provide accuracy and consistency in work performance. * Learn proper measuring techniques, tool use, care, and quality standards * Work with a team as well as independently when needed. **What We Seek:** * High School Diploma or equivalent. * 0-2 years of experience in electrical assembly and/or have basic experience in electrical assembly. * Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs daily. * Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time. * Ability to pay attention to detail. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment. * Ability to perform visual checks and handle material responsibly. * Ability to use a computer and learn basic data entry. * Dependable and flexible. Must be able to work over-time and weekends to support business needs.
