Systematic troubleshooting; Efficient, accurate diagnosis of the root cause; Troubleshoot and make quality repairs to AC and DC electrical control systems; Troubleshoot and make quality repairs to AC and DC, motors, drives, servo systems; Diagnose problems using the following tools: Digital multimeter, schematics, PLC/Drive logic SW diagnostic tools, and other specialty software as needed; Troubleshoot and repair/replace computer/IPC hardware
Must be able to effectively troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment, Follow LOTO procedures, Wear proper PPE, Be compliant with all plant, corporate, Continental, safety, Illinois and government codes, standards and policies, Be available for vacancy coverage and overtime as required from time to time, Maintain a clean, organized and professional workspace, Work in a non-climate controlled environment, Exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), dust, forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise, Involves various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and operating machinery
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, Manufacturing Technology, or similar, Successful passing of the electrical test and having 3-5 years of industrial electrical experience, Completing the Rockwell program, Legal authorization to work in the U. S.

Previous manufacturing facility experience
What You'll Do.
Systematic troubleshooting of production equipment
accurate diagnosis of the root cause of production equipment issues
Sustainable quality repairs to production equipment
Tracking work via SAP-PM software
detailed feedback about faults & repairs
Troubleshooting and repairing AC and DC electrical control systems
Troubleshooting and repairing AC and DC motors
Diagnosing problems using specified tools and software
Replacing defective control system components
Recommissioning and verifying correct operations
Using an iPad to track working time and repair details in SAP/PUMA
Executing small mechanical repairs
Troubleshooting and repairing/replacing computer/IPC hardware
Maintaining power transformers and lighting transformers
Assisting the Area Engineer in updating maintenance web pages
Performing other duties as directed by Maintenance Supervisor or Department Manager
Assisting maintenance supervisor in daily duties

Communicate with maintenance, engineering and production personnel in a positive and professional manner; Assist the Area Engineer in keeping the maintenance of web pages up to date; Assist maintenance supervisor in daily duties
