Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience), Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in controls engineering, preferably within service or support environments, understanding of advanced electrical engineering concepts and system design, Experience with power distribution, control panels, cabling, and industrial electrical systems, Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations, Familiarity with automated systems such as conveyors, sortation, and related equipment, Proficiency with computer-based engineering and design tools, Ability to evaluate and resolve electrical engineering issues independently in time-sensitive, operational environments, troubleshooting and analytical skills with a focus on root cause analysis and long-term solutions, Ability to review and validate technical work to ensure compliance with standards and best practices, Adaptability to evolving technologies and system platforms, Ability to coordinate across engineering, service, and customer teams, Excellent time management and attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills, particularly in customer-facing situations, Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure, Professional, proactive, and customer-focused mindset, Collaborative team player with interpersonal skills, Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites as needed (typically up to 25%), Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards, and BEUMER engineering practices

The Electrical Project Engineer is a hands-on role responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing BEUMER’s installed electrical systems across customer sites. This position applies professional electrical engineering knowledge to service-based projects, including system upgrades, retrofits, troubleshooting, and performance improvements for sorters, palletizers, stretch hoods, and conveyor systems. This role is critical in ensuring system reliability, safety, and long-term performance, working closely with Customer Support, Field Service, Engineering, and customers to deliver lifecycle value and technical excellence.
