Prysmian is a public company listed on the Italian Stock Exchange, with almost **150 years of experience** , over **33,000 employees** , **104 plants** and **27 R &D centers** in over **50 countries.** Everyone at Prysmian has the potential to make their mark; because whatever you do, wherever you are based, you will be part of a company that is helping transform the world around us. **Your contribution to Prysmian 's Success:** We are looking for a Electrical Product & Application Engineer who join the Network Components Business Unit in Milan, focusing on Medium Voltage (MV) Cable Accessories products. **Job responsibilities** * Contribute to product modularity and standardization across engineering designs. * Manage and maintain product codes, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and related documentation. * Control and optimize product costs, supporting cost-reduction initiatives. * Support product strategy and the development of customer-facing features. * Lead phase-in/phase-out activities for product codes and ensure smooth transitions. * Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. * Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Operations, and other departments to align engineering activities with business goals, as well as product development teams to design or adapt solutions. * Utilize CAD tools for design and documentation, as well as SAP for product data management and process integration. * Support and monitor activities in the manufacturing plant, gaining understanding of production processes to ensure product feasibility and quality. **You are the right fit if you have/are:** * Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). * Fluency in English. * Proven experience in a manufacturing or product development environment within structured organizations. * Experience in technic
