What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field., Proven experience in the design and development of transformers or related heavy electrical equipment., understanding of transformer principles, including electromagnetic theory, thermal management, insulation systems, and mechanical integrity., Proficiency in CAD software (e. g. , AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor) and simulation tools (e. g. , ANSYS, COMSOL)., Knowledge of relevant industry standards (e. g. , IEC, ANSI/IEEE)., Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills., Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment., written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have
Experience with material selection for high-voltage applications is a plus., Familiarity with manufacturing processes relevant to transformer production is desirable.
What You'll Do.
Design and develop electrical
