Full Job Description
# **Job Description** The starting rate of pay for this position is expected to be $35.00/hr. **Summary** To service and support manufacturing operations in the form of maximizing production output via expedient machine repair, procurement of repair parts, preventive maintenance, safety and maintaining building systems. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting. You will work closely with other team members to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities. **Minimum Qualifications** * Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician or equivalent experience. * Valid electrician's license or certification preferred. * Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and equipment. * PLC troubleshooting experience. * Previous experience in an industrial setting working with machine processes, schedules and a variety of individuals involved in the manufacturing environment necessary. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. * Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. **Job Responsibilities** * Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities. * Performs necessary repairs on equipment * Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues. * Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment. * Perform routine maintenance and inspections. * Creates and understands the work order process using SAP. * Problem solves issues concerning equipment operation and manufacturing processes where these relate to maximizing output. * Involvement in developmental project work including working with R&D, manufacturing and outside equipment and parts vendors. * Functions as part of the technical resources
