Support day to day operations

Full Job Description
Amazon Web Services is seeking a highly motivated person to join our Data Center Engineering Operations (DCEO) Team. The group works to support the critical physical infrastructure that supports Amazon Web Services. Specifically, this team directly supports day to day operations staff as the primary technical resource for the Rotating Service Spares (RSS) Breaker Maintenance Team (EPG Team). The position will be focused on overall availability and reliability of circuit breakers and related devices. Additionally the candidate must adhere to all safety and security policies and meet all defined service level agreements of the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) program. The candidate will assist site engineers and EPG Team Leads with daily operational tasks that include but are not limited to: developing procedures, providing training to operations, root cause analysis on breaker failures, support breaker related FSB’s, support breaker hardware replacements, perform audits of switchgear, and provide support for 36M and 72M maintenance of switchgear. The candidate will not only assist in maintaining a high reliability and performance but also keep operating costs in facilities at a minimum while supporting the RCM program. The EPG Team Engineer is the window into the data center front line and will be called upon to provide updates during large-scale events regarding breaker failures and switchgear peripheral hardware.
