What They're Looking For.
Must Have
A Licensed Electrical Practitioner (electrician), Relevant electrical trade qualifications, Current electrical licence, Minimum 5 year post electrical trade working in the general electrical contracting industry, Sound knowledge in the application and interpretation of relevant Australian Standards, particularly AS/NZS 3000 "The Wiring Rules", Knowledgeable in all relevant Tasmanian electrical safety legislation, Able to work independently and also as a part of a productive team, Physically able to inspect all required parts of an electrical installation, Physically able to work at height, Meet all the requirements of the Department of Justice to be appointed as an Authorised Officer under the Electricity Industry Safety and Administration Act and the Occupational Licensing Act, A current, unrestricted car driver’s license

This role plays a critical part in ensuring all electrical works meet regulatory standards, technical specifications, and quality requirements while maintaining the highest level of safety across the state. As an **Electrical Inspector** , you will be responsible for inspecting, auditing, investigating and verifying electrical installations to ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and regulations.
