Full Job Description
Electrical Hardware Engineer, HyperX **Description -** **Key Responsibilities** • **End-to-End Development:** Manage the hardware design lifecycle from concept generation through product development, to Mass Production (MP). • **ODM Management:** Oversee all aspects of hardware design, addressing and resolving technical issues with ODM partners to ensure strict adherence to HyperX quality standards. • **System Architecture:** Create and own system architecture; drive the design and layout of PCBs and schematics. • **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work closely with various teams (e.g. Firmware, Software, Mechanical, Design verification, PM, ID, Procurement, Operation) to ensure seamless system integration and efficient project execution. • **BOM Optimization:** Review the full EE board files, including schematic, placement, layout, and Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure meeting cost, schedule, and product requirements, without compromising performance. • **Validation:** Design and execute EE board test scenarios and experiments. **Basic Qualifications** • **Experience:** Minimum 5 years of experience in the consumer electronics industry. • **Technical Expertise:** Solid experience in PCBA and electrical design, specifically regarding: • Component selection and qualification. • DC/DC circuit design. • USB interface standards. • Battery power management and power consumption modeling. • System-level understanding of overall EE design. • **Compliance:** Experience designing for compliance certification in mass production. • **PCB Layout:** Strong knowledge of PCB layout principles and tools. • **Soft Skills:** A self-motivated, quick learner with excellent prioritization and time-management skills. **Preferred Qualifications** • **RF & Compliance:** Experience with EMI, ESD, RF, and Antenna design is a strong plus. • **Language:** Fluency in both written and spoken English is highly preferred for global collaboration. • **Culture:** A team player with an open mind, cr
