What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field, Hands on experience with instrumentation, sensors, and data acquisition hardware, Working knowledge of LabVIEW, PLC programming, and VFD setup, Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation, Troubleshooting skills across electrical, control, and instrumentation systems, US Citizen and/or permanent resident

Nice to Have

Experience working with water or hydraulic test loops, including pumps, valves, and flow control systems, Experience within the fire protection industry

What You'll Do.

Support experimental development

and troubleshoot sensors

and data acquisition systems

Ensure test systems operate safely

and data acquisition systems used in fire suppression R&D testing

and maintain LabVIEW programs for data collection

and system monitoring

and troubleshoot automation hardware including PLCs and VFDs

Diagnose and resolve issues involving wiring

communication protocols

and instrumentation performance

Maintain wiring diagrams

and system component records

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Work closely with engineers to ensure test systems operate safely, accurately, and reliably; Establish and sustain effective working relationships across a variety of teams
