What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field, Hands on experience with instrumentation, sensors, and data acquisition hardware, Working knowledge of LabVIEW, PLC programming, and VFD setup, Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation, Troubleshooting skills across electrical, control, and instrumentation systems, US Citizen and/or permanent resident
Nice to Have
Experience working with water or hydraulic test loops, including pumps, valves, and flow control systems, Experience within the fire protection industry

Support experimental development

Ensure test systems operate safely
and data acquisition systems used in fire suppression R&D testing
and maintain LabVIEW programs for data collection

The Electrical Engineering Technician will support experimental development by setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting sensors, instrumentation, automation hardware, and data acquisition systems. You will work closely with engineers to ensure test systems operate safely, accurately, and reliably. We require candidates to be US Citizens and/or permanent residents of the US.
