## Description Electrical Engineer I Location: Marietta, OH Duration: Full time, Direct Hire Salary: Starts at $70,000 annually and may be higher depending on experience JOB SUMMARY: We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and energetic professional to join our Technology & Engineering department here in Marietta, Ohio. In this challenging role, you will support electrical design initiatives to facilitate global market access, brand protection and consumer safety for our portfolio of power distribution equipment. ## RESPONSIBILITIES Product level electrical design including component selection, thermal system design, assist with mechanical packaging concepts, and interconnection hardware selection/design. Apply comprehensive knowledge in the fields of analog and digital circuitry design, magnetics, and thermals Creates engineering and technical design specifications for power protection systems Designs switchboard power and control circuits Creates and manages design documentation such as bills of materials and schematics Support qualification/integration of 3rd party devices in power distribution equipment Conducts hardware design reviews to demonstrate product robustness. Contributes to customer and manufacturing documentation, test procedures and technical reports Sustaining engineering support for newly launched and legacy power protection systems Hands on troubleshooting of systems and subsystems Support product safety certifications with partnering NRTL (UL, CSA, IEC standards) ## BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD drafting software Experience in Designing Power distribution solutions, such as PDU, STS, RPP and switchboards ## PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Proficiency with basic EE tools (Oscilloscopes, Network analyzers, Signal Generators etc.) Experience in three phases and electrical power systems Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills Strong laboratory skill
