Full Job Description
## Responsibilities Design and document electrical systems and components, including cables, wire harnesses, industrial control panels, and cable routing solutions. Develop and maintain electrical schematics, System Interconnect Diagrams (SIDs), and related engineering documentation. Support electrical system validation activities by developing test plans, executing tests, and documenting results. Assist with system-level integration, testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of electrical and electromechanical systems. Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain teams to support prototype builds, production issues, and outsourced electrical assemblies. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on product reliability, manufacturability, quality, and cost reduction. Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including prototype development, design verification, and production readiness efforts. Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawings, procedures, and other product release documentation. Support component lifecycle management activities, including obsolescence reviews and alternative part qualification. Provide technical support to manufacturing, field service, quality, and other engineering teams. Participate in MRB activities and dispositioning of nonconforming material. Create and support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and assist in implementing design changes through the change control process. Contribute to engineering projects under the guidance of senior engineers and engineering management. ## Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. 2-5 years of experience in electrical system design, development, manufacturing, or sustaining engineering. Experience using ECAD tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar software. Experience developing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel documentation.
