Full Job Description
**Title:** Electrical Engineer II **Belong, Connect, Grow, with KBR!** **Program Summary** KBR is looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team within the National Security Solutions organization, supporting the sustainment engineering efforts of the Air Force and other DoD customers across multiple programs. We solve obsolescence issues by providing engineering expertise in the following areas: reverse engineering, design engineering, prototyping, additive manufacturing, technology insertion, nondestructive inspection, test plan development and execution, allowing our customers to keep legacy systems in operation during the later stages of their lifespans. **Job Summary** This position will support our Tinker AFB customers allowing systems such as the B-52, B-1, and others to remain operational. With increasing experience, the employee will be responsible for increasingly complex modifications and modernizations to these aging systems. Engineering expertise includes evaluating, selecting, and applying standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. This includes interpreting project requirements, conducting detailed analyses, and developing practical, efficient solutions in alignment with industry best practices and organizational goals. **Roles and Responsibilities** * Reverse engineering airborne and ground obsolete systems by analyzing and understanding the design and functionality of these systems by working backward from its current status * Creating and reviewing electrical schematics and designs * Comprehension of electrical designs, drawings, and standards * Performing general electrical engineering tasks * Developing and reviewing of technical documentation relating to users, systems, standards, processes, workflows, operations, products, and services * Working in lab space for fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of electrical products * Full roles and responsibilities will vary based on years of experien
