Otis is looking for an Electrical Engineer to execute and support electrical engineering activities for elevator systems across the product lifecycle, with a primary focus on New Product Introduction (NPI) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). Ensure timely delivery of high-quality designs, accurate product data, and compliant solutions that meet Otis safety, reliability, and cost expectations. **On a typical day you will:** * Support full NPI lifecycle: concept, design, validation, industrialization, and launch * Deliver electrical designs aligned with system requirements and program timelines * Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, and risk mitigation activities * Coordinate prototype builds, testing, and validation with cross-functional teams * Create and maintain product structures and BOMs in PLM systems * Execute ECR/ECN workflows ensuring accuracy and traceability * Maintain configuration control and technical documentation integrity * Support obsolescence management and part substitutions * Support electrical testing, verification, and certification processes * Analyze test results and implement corrective actions * Ensure adherence to safety codes and quality standards **What you will need to be successful:** * BS Degree in electrical engineering or similar * 2+ years engineering experience * Electrical system design (control panels, power distribution, safety circuits) BOM structuring and configuration management * Understanding of system integration (electrical + mechanical + software) * Knowledge of global standards (EN, IEC, ASME A17.1) * Root cause analysis and problem solving * Hands-on experience with PLM tools (Windchill, or similar) * Engineering change management
