Eligibility Requirements

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

3+ years of electrical engineering design with Switchgear in the marine, heavy industrial, and oil & gas industries, 1+ years of experience with electro-mechanical power system design, including low/medium voltage power distribution, motor control centers, controls integration, and arc flash protection, Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, PromisE, and related electrical CAD tools, Ability to read and understand client-supplied job specifications and one-line diagrams to create design criteria for project development, knowledge of applicable electrical standards (IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, UL), Familiarity with ERP/PLM systems and Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, Ability to work on fast-paced, short-turnaround projects, judgment and decision-making skills with an emphasis on cost, safety, and quality, Excellent written and verbal able to prepare technical documentation and present to internal teams and clients, Demonstrated ability to work independently while also leading cross-functional collaboration, Commitment to mentoring and developing junior team members, Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for leading the development of complete electrical design packages, including schematics, layouts, and bills of materials that meet manufacturing, regulatory, and client requirements. This role requires advanced technical knowledge of low- and medium-voltage electrical control equipment, as well as the ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and client teams. As a senior member of the Engineering team, this individual will provide mentorship, technical guidance, and design leadership to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
