If you love to design and build boards from the ground up, develop firmware to control complex electromechanical systems, and produce elegant solutions to real-world problems, we want you as an Electrical Engineer. You are highly encouraged to share an example of your work that demonstrates your skills and experience. The Job: Design and build prototypes and production electronic systems, including circuit design, PCB layout, embedded firmware development, bring up and validation Own projects, not skills -- this role is for a “full-stack” engineer with a focus on shipping products, not a specialist in any one area of electronics engineering Go beyond the board -- be responsible for the design of subsystems such as sensors, actuators, and optoelectronics that require tradeoffs between electrical and mechanical requirements Back up your design decisions with data gathered through simulations and experiments Hone your skills and grow: engineers at Formlabs have grown into deep technical experts, system architects, product technical leads, and team leaders / managers.
