What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum four years of consulting electrical engineering experience, Project Management experience is required, Must be able to obtain U. S. Security clearance, Must have experience in supervising, estimating, and negotiating contracts, Must be able to supervise and manage projects of varying sizes, Experience with site investigations to verify existing conditions, Experience with reviewing contractor submittals and performing construction observations
Nice to Have
Local architectural/engineering community experience is desired, Department of Defense design experience is desired, Registration as PE (preferred)
What You'll Do.
Design electrical and lighting plans and specifications for a variety of building types
Work closely with the electrical department and with other engineering disciplines to coordinate deliverables for our clients
Contribute to Coffman’s marketing and business initiatives as needed
Work independently and also collaboratively with others
negotiating contracts
supervise and manage projects of varying sizes
site investigations to verify existing conditions
reviewing contractor submittals
performing construction observations
