We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to provide dedicated engineering support to our freeze dryer fleet. Reporting to the Freeze Dryer Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the reliability, performance, and compliance of critical equipment within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role focused on fault finding, upgrades, and equipment lifecycle management, with strong involvement in improvement and project activities. **The Role:** * Act as a key engineering contact for freeze dryers, supporting day-to-day operations and long-term improvements * Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, carrying out structured root cause investigations * Deliver electrical and mechanical upgrades, including components such as drives, motors, valves, actuators, and control systems * Identify obsolete equipment and implement reliable replacement solutions * Support installation, modification, testing, and commissioning of new or upgraded systems * Contribute to small–medium upgrade projects, ensuring delivery to scope and standards * Participate in Change Control / Management of Change (MoC) processes * Ensure all work complies with GMP, EHS, and engineering standards * Maintain accurate documentation, including reports, drawings, and commissioning records * Proactively identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, safety, and uptime **The Candidate** * Qualification in Electrical or Electrical & Electronic Engineering (NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND, apprenticeship, or equivalent) * Strong experience in industrial electrical fault finding, with the ability to interpret dra
