What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or equivalent, Valid Master Electrician or Journeyman Electrician certification required, Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience working with high and/or medium-voltage electrical distribution systems, Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the airfield lighting field, Demonstrated experience performing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in an operational environment, Must possess a valid U. S. Driver’s License, Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements, Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Qatar, Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures, Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions, Must have and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

What You'll Do.
Operate electrical distribution systems
Maintain electrical distribution systems
Troubleshoot electrical distribution systems
Repair electrical distribution systems
Maintain airfield lighting systems
Inspect airfield lighting systems
Repair airfield lighting systems
Perform maintenance on electrical equipment
Read electrical drawings
Interpret electrical drawings
Ensure compliance with NEC
Ensure compliance with safety standards
Ensure compliance with lockout/tagout
Coordinate with airfield operations
Coordinate with maintenance disciplines
Maintain documentation of maintenance
Respond to emergency outages
Respond to mission-critical issues
