Reg 22/04 certification, Experience with liaising with utility authorities

Nice to Have

Experience with pole loading software i. e. SPIDAcalc or equivalent is an asset, Experience in lighting calculation softwares ( AGI32, Autolux )

Full Job Description

In your role as an Electrical Designer – Roadway Lighting Design you will contribute to the successful design, production, coordination and management of Lighting projects. You will develop lighting systems designs in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D such as layout, single line diagrams, wiring schematics, photometric layouts, grounding details, prepare and review wire sizing, voltage drop and conduit capacity calculations. You will also be responsible for coordinating utilities for electrical infrastructure and transportation-related design and construction projects along with preparing technical reports, tender items, and providing field support such as commissioning and site inspections. You will ensure that Engineering deliverables (e.g., drawings, specifications, analysis, budget estimates) comply with applicable regulations, standards, corporate procedures and sound engineering practices, review drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness and quality of technical information and project documentation in accordance with QA/QC programs and ensure that project deliverables are met in a timely manner to a high quality including engineering drawings and preparing final reports.
