The Electrical Designer is responsible for supporting the development and execution of electrical systems and control panel designs for our manufacturing operations. The Electrical Designer will be responsible for creating electrical design packages, selecting components, preparing detailed schematics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design intent is carried through to production. Essential Duties/Responsibilities The following list of responsibilities is not all inclusive, additional projects and/or tasks may be assigned to meet operational needs. MCG retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position should operational needs warrant. * Create designs specific to low voltage switchgear assemblies/systems, replacement breakers, and related equipment. * Work under the supervision of electrical engineers to develop electrical schematics, panel layout, and wiring diagrams that meet customer, manufacturing, regulatory, and project requirements. * Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), wire lists, and terminal block drawings. * Follow and develop standard design processes and documentation to improve quality
