Full Job Description

Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions. **WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:** In this role, you’ll play a hands‑on part in bringing electrical designs to life—from early concept through production. You’ll work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and cross‑functional partners to ensure designs are accurate, buildable, and well‑supported on the shop floor. * Support the full electrical design lifecycle, from project kickoff through production, including electrical drawing packages and electrical bills of materials (EBOMs). * Identify, track, and help resolve issues uncovered during design reviews to keep projects moving forward. * Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to clarify scope, resolve design challenges, and ensure alignment throughout the project. * Serve as a technical resource for Production, providing clear guidance and support during build and test activities. **YOU HAVE:** * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience (preferred). * 2+ years of experience in electrical design, project engineering, or manufacturing support roles preferred. * Working knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and power system design principles. * Experience creating and managing bills of materials (BOMs). * Familiarity with ERP systems (preferred). **WE HAVE:** * A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day * nVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
