Must Have

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent HND/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Minimum 10 years' professional experience in electrical systems for data centres or critical infrastructure environments, Demonstrated expertise in source inspections and manufacturing quality control for electrical equipment, Comprehensive knowledge of LV/MV systems, protection systems, and backup power systems (UPS, generators, switchgear), Proficiency with testing standards (IEC, IEEE, IS) and FAT/SAT procedures, competency in QA/QC documentation, NCR management, and technical reporting, Proven ability to interface effectively with manufacturers, project teams, and stakeholders

The Electrical Source Inspection & Quality Control Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all electrical equipment and systems are manufactured, tested, and delivered in full compliance with project specifications, regulatory standards, and client expectations prior to dispatch. The role is critical in maintaining the integrity, safety, and reliability of power infrastructure within mission-critical data center environments. Working closely with manufacturers and suppliers, the engineer conducts detailed inspections and witnesses testing activities to verify that equipment such as switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, and control panels meet stringent performance and quality requirements. This includes validating protection schemes, system functionality, and integration readiness.
