What You'll Achieve.
Help customer's vision for automated storage solution come to life; Ensure everything is operational after rack installation; Ensure everything is functional before robots are commissioned; Prepare Movu system for handover to end-customer
Industry & Context.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems; Troubleshoot processes
Willing and able to travel to customer sites up to 30%, Travel to Romeoville, IL office if remote, Travel to headquarters in Belgium if remote, Morning hours are important for connecting with European colleagues, Workday starts mid-morning or later is not suitable
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Multiple years of experience with controls and electrical engineering of custom automation, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Robotics, Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering, PLC and HMI Programming experience, Experience with automation controls, monitoring systems, safety area scanners and safety controllers, Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical system, Comfortable using 2D CAD software for design of electrical diagrams and schematics
Nice to Have
3D CAD software for design of electrical diagrams and schematics, Experience with ePlan or comparable software
What You'll Do.
Support Sales and Engineering pre-sale phase
Answer questions on system integration
Support project execution
Design electrical cabinets
Create network diagrams
Design controls algorithms
Design safety systems
Program device communication
Test mechanical and electrical systems
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
Source external vendors
Lead engineering teams
Lead automation teams
Contribute to risk assessment documents
Support Sales Engineering team
Contribute to mechanical system layout drawings
Contribute to development of test plans
Make Full Load Amps calculations
Ensure UL listed components are selected
Ensure cabinet is assembled compliant
Be present on-site at First Power Up
Be present on-site during commissioning
Perform Site Acceptance Testing

Work closely with R&D; Work closely with European colleagues; Collaborate with Project Management; Collaborate with Commissioning Team; Collaborate with Sales Engineering team
