Must Have
Registered as an Apprentice Electrician with Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT), Actively enrolled in an approved trade school program, Understanding of electrical fundamentals, including voltage, current, resistance and basic circuitry, Basic understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and applicable standards, Ability to work in a safety sensitive environment and adhering to safety protocols, Awareness of electrical safety practices and hazard recognition, Demonstrated commitment to completing technical training and progressing toward Journeyperson certification, Exposure to electrical installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting activities, Introductory ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics and specifications, Introductory knowledge of motor controls, sensors and control circuits, Ability to safely use basic electrical hand tools, power tools and test instruments, Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure production environment while effectively managing multiple competing priorities, Ability to interact with others in a sensitive, tactful, diplomatic and professional manner at all times, Highly adaptable, with interpersonal skills that support effective collaboration in a diverse work environment, Organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks, resolve issues and consistently meet deadlines, Proven ability to thrive and contribute effectively in a team‑based environment, Works effectively on individual tasks, maintaining productivity and accountability with minimal supervision, Maintains attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality of work, Perform all duties in accordance with Silent-Aire safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations and Code

Previous work experience in an industrial, commercial or manufacturing environment, Working knowledge of electrical tools, materials and equipment used in manufacturing environments, Experience with routine electrical maintenance operations
What You'll Do.
Supports the installation
termination and assembly of electrical systems
Assists with the construction and fabrication of control panels and systems
Performs rough‑in and finishing wiring for control systems
Installs interlocking wiring
Participates in wiring verification and checkout activities
Installs and terminates conduit
sensors and control components
Assists with the installation
repair and maintenance of electrical control circuits for motors and control devices
Supports the preparation of material take‑offs and identification of required electrical equipment and components
Assists with lockout/tagout (LOTO) and electrical isolation procedures
Supports the review of facility electrical system plans and specifications
Assists with testing installed
repaired or modified equipment
Performs routine cleaning
lubrication and other basic maintenance activities
Maintains detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
Monitors electrical parts and materials usage
Assists in preparing preventative and predictive maintenance schedules
Supports quality control checks and inspection readiness
Ensures assigned tasks and project work are completed accurately
Performs assigned electrical tasks under the direction of a certified Journeyperson or designated supervisor
