What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Registered as an apprentice electrician in Alberta, Enrolled in a recognized trade school
Nice to Have
Experience with routine electrical maintenance operations
What You'll Do.
Install and terminate conduit
and control components
Construct and fabricate control panels and wiring
Install interlocking wiring and perform wiring check out
Install system components and wiring in compliance with codes
and maintain electrical control circuits
Provide material take-offs for equipment requirements
Propose changes or modifications to plans
Ensure accuracy and completion of tasks
Test installed/repaired/modified equipment
and perform maintenance work
Keep maintenance reports and documentation
Maintain working knowledge of technology changes
Monitor parts usage and report material issues
Assist in preparing maintenance schedules
Perform duties in accordance with safety program standards

Work under the supervision of journeyman electricians; Work as part of a team
