****Job Description:**** An opportunity for an **Electrical and Lights System Engineer for Modelling and Simulation** has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). This vacancy belongs to Electric and Lights System Department where we specify, qualify and certify electrical and lights equipment and integrate inside the Electrical system and/or Lighting system of most of Airbus Defence & Space platforms. Besides we are accountable of electrical load analysis, architecture definition and system requirements allocation. We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Electrical and Lights Systems Engineer with expertise in modelling and simulation. In this role, you will bridge the gap between conceptual design and physical implementation. You will be responsible for developing high-fidelity simulations to validate system requirements, predict performance, and identify potential failure modes long before physical prototypes are built. You will use simulation tools to drive architectural decisions, optimize system performance, and reduce development risk.**Main** **Responsibilities** * System Architecture & Modelling: Design and model complex electrical architectures, including power distribution networks, and control logic for electrical and lights systems. * Failure Mode Simulation: Perform virtual failure tests to simulate electrical failures inside the system. * Cross-Disciplinary Integration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure the proper functionality of their equipment inside electrical network. * Requirement Verification: Use simulation tools to provide evidences that justifies compliance with programme requirements. * Participate in all the engineering lifecycle **Skills** * Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar. * Tools: Expert-level proficiency in simulation software such as MATLAB/Simulink. * The Vision: Experience with simulation and MBSE (Cameo or SysML based tools) is a significant a
