Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions. **WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:** * Facilitate Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) program objectives by providing clear and continuous direction. * Be a multi-site EHS expert, maintain strong shop floor presence and be considered the preferred point of contact for safety, health and environmental related inquiries. * Monitor applicable EHS regulatory requirements and risk initiatives; analyze potential impacts; provide operations leadership solutions as applicable. * Manage environmental processes to ensure regulatory requirements and sustainability initiatives are met in relation to waste management, water consumption and energy consumption. * Coordinate and engage plant personnel and other personnel in the identification, development and implementation of EHS improvements. * Manage EHS documents, vendor contract and permit administration. * Oversee workers compensation cases, working with human resources and legal teams. * Manage incident reporting process and participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis. * Facilitate required EHS training to ensure all regulatory and company obligations are met. **YOU HAVE:** * Academic background in Engineering, Science, Safety or Environmental. Associate Safety Professional (ASP) preferred. * Previous experience in a manufacturing setting. 3+ years of progressive experience leading safety and/or environmental management systems. * Strong presentation and public speaking skills. * Demonstrated ability to utilize strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface with people at all levels within the organization and outside the organization. * Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and the ability to apply such in the
