Eligibility Requirements

Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts. Work in an environment where the noise level varies. Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments). Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs). Maintain effective care delivery in emergencies and assist emergency response at the site. Must be available to work flexible shifts including days, nights and/or weekends. For those that do not have an adult First Aid, CPR, AED certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, must obtain within 3 weeks of start date.

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

High school or equivalent. A minimum of 1 year in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field. Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity. Experience maintaining confidentiality in matter involving security and/or personnel issues in the workplace.

Nice to Have

A Bachelor’s degree in EHS-relevant background. 6 months experience performing in a safety-related role within Amazon. Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a safety related field. Experience leading and managing a team, ability to analyze accident data, new processes, and machinery for potential safety concerns, and conduct job hazard and job safety analyses. Experience in emergency response and currently holds First Aid and CPR certificates.
